Vector Artwork
(made with Points and Lines)
Typical Vector File Formats: .ai .eps .pdf .svg
Vector Artwork is ideal for printing since it's universally
resizable and recolourable without loss of quality
Bitmap / Raster Artwork
(made with Pixels)
Typical Bitmap File Formats: .jpg .bmp .png .pdf .tif .psd
Bitmap Artwork, such as photographs, are only printable if the quality is high enough.
Please contact our sales department for more information on bitmap printing.
All artwork is preferred to be in vector format, as opposed to raster or bitmap format. We prefer Adobe Illustrator. You should be able to get your logos in vector format from the artist who created the artwork as graphics are almost always created in vector before saving to another format. Check with your sponsors.
Web graphics are not accepted for print. The resolution is too low.
JPEG files are not accepted, they must be original Vector format. Saving the JPG in an Illustrator file will not work.
All fonts must be converted to outlines.
For color matching we need pantone number for all colors.
Please make sure there is no overprint on your logos. To check for this in Illustrator, click on "View" from the scrolldown menu and then select the option, "Overprint Preview". If the logos do not look the same, you have an overprint that needs to be removed in the Attributes Pallet.
The ATACTM Color Pallet is designed to make things simple...for our Art Department and for you. Looking at 1000+ colors can be daunting. Our ATACTM Color Pallet is comprised of the most popular colors that we have used in our business. Please use the below Solid Coated Pantones in making your color choices. If you do require a specific Pantone not on the chart, please contact customerservice@atacsportswear.com for a custom color quotation. And remember, every computer screen is slightly different, so check your Solid Coated Pantone book for the exact color shade.
